Pushed Website Policies Page and Standardised Footer

Pushed Website Policies page

The Distributor plug-in has been activated across the network, with the ‘Website Policies’ page pushed out to all Lochac websites. Now when you go to your Pages list you will see ‘Website Policies’ has been automatically added.

When you go into this page you will see that it is distributed from the Kingdom of Lochac page. This means any changes to the Lochac page will be distributed automatically to those linked via this method.

This will also automatically create the link …/website/ for your site. You can now use this automatically created URL to modify the footer.

Modifying the Footer

How you modify the footer will be dependant on how the website has been built.

One way is to modify by Appearance > Widgets > Footer

In Septera theme:

Appearance > Customise > General > Structure > Custom Footer Text

Here you can insert custom text or basic HTML code that will appear in your footer. You can use HTML to insert links, images and special characters.

The text should be:

©2021 [The local group’s name and group type]

<P><P>

This is an unofficial publication of the Kingdom of Lochac. It is not a corporate publication of the SCA, nor does it delineate SCA policy. All rights reserved.
